KEEPING THE FAITH

The past month or so has been difficult for me. I felt like I was walking through the wilderness all alone. But, I was not alone, I had God who I leaned on heavily and he came through for me in the end. Never doubt God’s greatness….he is always there. You just have to have faith and never, ever give up. I also had the help of a couple of  great friends who helped me in my time of need. I am forever grateful for their help. I feel  dawn has started to break over the past week or so.

I am learning more and more as I get older that sometimes you have to reach out and ask for help. This was something that was very difficult for me to do in my younger years. I just tried (for the most part) to figure things out on my own. I understand it is hard to reach out and ask for help when you need it, but if you don’t….then you will never know for sure if someone was able or willing to help you. Yes, there is always that fear of rejection, but sometimes it is best to know who is your real friend. You will discover in your time of need who you can count on.

Most of all in my difficult journey, I once again discovered the power of prayer and that God is always there for me. I would be remiss if I did not give thanks to Jesus. God is always there for you. We all know that old saying…’what  doesn’t break you, will make you stronger.’ As cliche as that may sound, it is true. So, be strong, stay true to who you are….and know, that with faith, you can make it through tough times. Believe that with every new day, you have a chance to begin anew. Make new plans, overcome any obstacle, fulfill dreams and make new memories.
