A voice never raised in anger
Patience and reassurance
Kind eyes which could soothe in one glance
Comfort, even in the worst storms
Laughter amidst the most mundane
Loyalty beyond measure
Curiosity in the seemingly insignificant
Courage that inspired all
Joyfulness where there appeared to be none
Warmth to cheer on the weary
Kindness to all and sundry
I miss all this and so much more
